The infinite Mulisch
Museum of Literature
Harry Mulisch is one of most important Dutch post-war writers. The Museum of Literature wanted to give the public a glimpse into his study, just around the corner from Leidseplein, where he lived from 1958 until his death in 2010. We designed and built an online exhibition in which the visitor is taken through his office – and Mulisch's life – by means of 360 degree photography.
A writer with many faces
Mulisch's office is full of stories. Every object is inextricably linked to him. In four major storylines, we take you through his life and work; the man, the writer, the second world war and Mulisch the alchemist.
Discover and wander
The storylines that take place in his office can be discovered by means of four guided tours along various objects. Would you rather have a look around yourself? Of course that's also possible!
Down to the details
All objects from the guided tours have their own story and can be viewed in detail in 360 degrees. They give you a glimpse into Mulisch's life and together with the extensive background information, they let you get to know Mulisch.
